About Us
Hydraulic engineering from George Town, Chennai since 1998
Supply, manufacture to drawing, repair and servicing of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Our Story
Established 1998, grown through repeat customers
Uni-Tech Engineering Co. began in 1998 as a hydraulic supply and service establishment in George Town, Chennai. The area has long been the trading heart of the city's engineering business, and working there put us in daily contact with the plants, workshops and contractors we still serve.
Over the years the work expanded from component supply into cylinder manufacture to drawing, power pack assembly, repair and refurbishment. Today the same team handles both sides, which means a customer can buy a cylinder, get it installed, and later have it resealed by people who know exactly how it was built.
We do not claim to be the largest hydraulic house in Chennai. What we do claim is that the work is done properly, the pricing is clear and the commitment on delivery is one we intend to keep.

How We Work
Capabilities across supply and service
Supply
Cylinders, pumps, valves, power packs, jacks, seals, hoses, fittings, honed tube and chrome rod.
Build to drawing
Cylinders and power packs made to customer drawings, or reverse engineered from an existing sample.
Repair
Dismantling, inspection, honing, rod work, resealing and testing of hydraulic equipment.
Installation
Piping, hose routing, mounting, flushing and commissioning at customer premises.
Maintenance
Scheduled servicing, oil and filter changes, leak rectification and condition checks.
Spares support
Seal kits, gaskets, gauges, breathers and consumables to keep machines running.
Our Approach
Repair when it makes sense, replace when it does not
A worn cylinder is not always a scrap cylinder. We inspect first and tell you honestly whether a reseal and hone will bring it back or whether a new unit is the better use of your money. The same applies to pumps, valves and power packs.
- Inspection before quoting on repair work
- Correct seal material chosen for fluid and temperature
- Pressure testing before equipment is returned
- Practical advice on preventing repeat failures
